ESA Support Group after 1 year was created by Nod60
Today I was told I will be placed in the support group of ESA.
Timeline of my case :
August 1st 2013 - no points after Atos medical
October 2013 - reconsideration upholds decision and case put to HM Courts and Tribunal Service.
November 2013 - report produced by GP following Benefits and Work guidelines and forwarded to HM Courts and Tribunal service.
April 14th 2014 - letter from DWP to say decision taken to place me in WRAG.
April 30th 2014 - request for mandatory reconsideration including copy of GP report. Again followed benefits and work guidelines.
August 1st 2014 - benefit stopped due to 365 day rule.
August 29th 2014 - DWP decision maker confirms placed into support group and benefit reinstated.
Throughout all this time there have been dozens of phone calls with DWP, visits to Citizens Advice Bureau and hours recording everything different people from DWP told me.
Both myself and my family have suffered immensely throughout this process and some very dark thoughts crossed my mind.
However by keeping going and not giving up it has finally reached a successful conclusion.
My message is to just keep trying and use this website for help, guidance and advice.
So thank you Benefits and Work............... Until next time!
