It’s been nine weeks since Atos returned my file to the DWP with a recommendation without calling me to a face-to-face assessment. I’m still waiting for a decision from the DWP despite my carer having contacted the department on my behalf. This is my timeline to date:
• DWP send initial notice of benefit change: 104 days • ESA 50 submitted to Atos: 72 days • Atos return file with recommendation to DWP: 63 days
I’m therefore wondering if other claimants who have not been called to an Atos assessment have been able to gauge from the ESA 85A how long their files were with the DWP after Atos issued a recommendation.
