Is it possible to apply for e.g. PIP if going through the process of having symptoms and being diagnosed? For example with a neurological illness? how should it be explained in the form 'under investigation'? many thanks

The primary issue on a new claim for PIP with no diagnosis will be showing that you meet the past test of 3 months and the future test of 9 months for your symptoms, I suspect that this will, to a considerable extent depend on the quality of the evidence that you can supply with your claim.
