Hi A,

That is great news !!! :cheer:

Thanks for the kind comments.

You do not have to send in any more sick notes/fit notes.

As you are now in the Support Group (SG), you will not have to take part in any form of Work Related Activity or Work Focused Interviews, (WRA or WFI) although you can do so voluntarily if you wish.

I see from your previous posts that you have been transferred over from SDA.

As this is the case, you will receive no less than you were receiving prior to transfer, although you may receive more :

What will I be paid?

As you were previously in receipt of SDA, you will be paid Contribution Based (CB) ESA :

What will I be transferred to?

Being in The SG may also entitle you to The Enhanced Disability Premium (EDP) :

ESA Premiums

This can only be paid if you can pass the "means test" for payment of Income Related (IR) ESA, with respect to capital, assets, savings, household income and any hours worked by a partner if you have one :

Asset rule for ESA(IR)

24 hour work rule for ESA(IR)

You may have to contact The DWP ESA office and request an ESA3 Form to see whether you are entitled to The EDP which would be paid on top of your CB ESA, and would appear as a "Disability Income Guarantee" or words to that effect on your benefits breakdown letter.

Even though you will be paid CB ESA in The SG, you will not be affected by the 365 days rule for payment of CB ESA for as long as you remain in The SG :

12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)

For further information regarding the recommended length of your SG award before reassessment, (The Prognosis) and other related information that you may wish to request, have a look at : This Post.

Please reply to this topic if you have any further queries.

April

As you are now in the Support Group I can confirm that there is no longer a requirement for you to send Fit Notes.

EDP stands for Enhance Disability Premium, this is payable to members of the SG who are also receiving Income Related ESA in part or in whole, if you think that you would qualify for this then you should follow the instructions in Bro's post.
