ESA Personal Advisor interview was created by sbir
Hi, I recived a letter from the job centre saying they have arranged a interview with a personal advisor to discuss support available. What do I expect when I go to it? And is it something you have to attend? Can this also be done over the phone? Thank you.

Hi OMR,

This is happening quite a lot at the moment. If you give me a few minutes I will link to the main thread where it is discussed.

In brief,we recommend that you contact the advisor and ask the purpose of the appointment, whether it is mandatory and what would happen if you did not attend. Then you can make an informed decision.

Thank you, just slightly confusing as the other members say they were required to bring passports and bank statements but they have not asked that from me.

From your post this is a general interview to see what help the JC+ can provide you with, the other members have reported that the interview was to check whether they were receiving the right benefits or not, this would certainly account for the bank statements.

The passports are used for identification because they have the claimants picture, an alternative would be the new driving licences.

Sorry to cut in on this thread, I don't have a passport or a drivers ID, would my mobility blue badge suffice please as that is the only thing I have with my picture on it?
