well I applied to my doctors for a a copy of my doctors records on my as im being re-assessed from DLA to PIP iv wrote to the drs as advised by B@W and have just had a fone call off the drs secretary saying its £50.00 for a copy of my records as its not done on C.D its actualy fotocopied by her and she has to stand there and foto copy it all ??!!
do people not know the price of £50.00 to someone who is n benefits ???
I might as well just send a copy of the beano to the pip assessor as I cant afford £50.00

I would not give up !
We do have members in a similar situation who have gained PIP awards.
Even though ATOS/DWP are not obliged to contact your G.P., they do so in around 25% of cases, so you might be one of the 25%.
Another alternative to gaining evidence may be to request to view your G.P. records on site, then ask for photo copies of any relevant extracts, this may be cheaper.
