worried my answers to ESA questions are too long

Hello, my name is Christine, and I have a review coming up for ESA. I wrote a lot the last time and was placed in WRAG and the past 2 years have seen my mental health worsen over it, i even self-harmed which i had never done before. My doctor is extremely supportive. I am doing my answers again, before the form comes as he suggested, because i know i will freeze when the form actually comes. He wants me in the support group and will write for this.
BUT for the mental health part my answers are long, and i have read details are good, but i am so worried they make me look capable intellectually. and that this will go against me.

I also submitted very long answers when completing my first ESA 50 last year. This was in spite of physical disability that restricts all manual tasks and limits the time I can spend in front of a PC.

I stated how long it takes me to type up one sheet of paper accurately, the support needed in completing the ESA 50, and the length of time in took draft all the information.

Result: 3 years in the Support group without a medical.

Last time I did my ESA50 I put additional sheets with my name, and national insurance number and cross-referenced all the questions, is this still ok for this year or do they no longer accept additional sheets

Yes C,

It is still fine to add any evidence/documentation that you feel supports your re-assessment.

You do not have to take any notice of the recommendations/notes within the ESA50 regarding suitable evidence that you should/may include.

This is pure recommendation, and there is nothing in legislation that precludes you from using any evidence that you wish to.

I virtually wrote a novel about my mental health issues & was given 3 years in the SG & no F2F.
I would give them as much info as you can.
