Job grant? was created by Ruby100
Hi,

I recently closed my claim for contributory ESA as I wanted to try and work. Today I got SIX envelopes from the DWP. . . .

One is intriguing however - it is asking me to answer three questions as 'you may be eligible for a job grant'. A quick google as I'd never heard of this and it says this was abolished in 2013. So what's this about then? Can anybody shed any light on what it is and what the eligibility criteria are? I've filled out the form with my circumstances and will post it today! How odd!

Thanks,
Ruby

As you rightly say, Job Grants are no longer available, the advice on Gov UK is for claimants to contact their local JC+ office.
