Hi
I'm hoping someone can help with this, I have been on contribution based ESA, in the support group for 3-4 years.
My partner has recently been made redundant and has received £17,000 as part of the settlement.
Will my ESA benefit be affected by this ??
thanks for any advice you can give.

Hi wg1,

As long as you are only in Contributory ESA, with no Income Related top-up, it doesn't matter how much savings or household income you have.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
