After been employed for 27 years, I had to go on the sick, with psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia and anxiety. I've claimed ESA at the beginning, waited 9 months for to be assessed but had requested a home visit backed up by letter from my gp. They have only gone and rejected me as been sick, saying that I can work and stopped my money. I cannot go to a job centre to claim as I just cannot do it because of my illnesses and the pain I suffer. I've not ate or slepted since the phone call last week, as I have no money at all coming in. I'm not avoiding trying to be assessed like everyone else, I had even sent my hospital letters and list of tablets I take. How can they leave me without a penny, when I told them I cannot get out...this is when I wish I had family
I'm sorry but it is not clear from your post whether you attended an assessment and were found Fit for Work or whether you did not attend and were found Fit for Work because of this?
Our advice would be different depending on the reasons you have failed to receive an award!
