Yes I agree completion of DLA (indefinite award claimants)to PIP by 2018 ;all 4.8 Million of them is highly unlikely, particularly in the light of your data from other benefit reforms stared in 2017 and not completed in 2014!!!!
Moreover,if you consider my "Tripling of work model" for the DWP, ATOS et al,scenario it is actually going to be more than triping of their work now because
1)Ongoing new PIP applications in All regions
2)Some DLA (indefinite award reasssement in the chosen postcodes )to PIP who havec"Spare AdminCapacity" at present only being selected at random 3,ooo people in total. A tiny tiny number of total on indefinite DLA even in these designated regions No mention of the desire to reassess those to PIP WHO had turned 65 since 2013 though. There must be far far more than 300 of these alone! !!
3)Re entry of PIP claimants who were awarded in 2013 on a 2 year fixed PIP award reassessed now in 2015 for a second time.
4)Similar situation for those awarded PIP IN 2014 being reasssement in 2016 and so on and so on.In other words a compounding and intensification of the centre Admin workload almost exponentially .
5)Resubmission of evidence by DLA claimants on indefinite awards who gained the benefit say 20 years ago will take ages, Far far more than the month allowed on receipt of PIP form to its resubmission
6)If chosen postcode areas are now undertaking DLA (indefinite award )to PIP because they have spare Admin capacity ,then this means that other areas d o not have spare "Admin capacity "right now let alone when all the above kicks in! !!!!
So completion by 2018?
Highly unlikely. Kate Green's MP estimated timescale of 40 years may be a little of an exaggeration for completion but This whole DLA to PIP transfer won't happen in this parliament will it? It will take at least 5 to 10 years
You see the George Osborne cop out clause was that he sudenly b announced that "The pace of benefit reforms would be slowed down "
That is because it is defacto being slowed down in any case for all the reasons I state .Osborne was simply saving face, and shielding his mate IDS from more flak .
What do you think Bro?

Hi JR,
I am well aware of all that you have stated, and that is why I have already confirmed that I do not believe that the transfer of all current applicable DLA recipients will be completed by 2018.

Thankyou for your responses, and your patience with me;Much appreciated.
Let's hope that nobody suffers in any way as claimants of indefinite DLA who will someday ,in years to come ,be required to apply for PIP
With Very Best wishes to you and the Team.
