I have been allocated the standard rate of PIP care. Housing Benefit have asked if anyone gets carers allowance for me. At the moment no-one does but if my sons partner claims carers allowance for me will it affect the working tax credit her partner gets.

They're trying to see if the Severe Disability Premium can be added to your applicable amount for HB. You need to be living alone and no one is claiming Carers Allowance for you.
