Hi...I have been disabled for 35 years with severe psoratic arthritis spondylitis osteoporosis..and other stuff...which affects me to the point my carer does nearly everything for me (including writing this)At the moment i receive high care and mobility dla...i have two knee replacements ...and now have been told that i need two new hips and shoulders..,
Will needing replacements go against me when transferring to pip...as they may think i'll become the bionic woman lol...but such is the extent of my arthritis i wont ...but the replacements may help with pain but, not movement..

Hi sl,

You have a valid point. DWP are likely to assume that you will be 100% fit after the joint replacements. If this will not be the case you need to make this absolutely clear on the form.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
