DLA LIFETIME/INDEFINITE AWARDS ASSESSMENTS

Can anyone advise on this subject? i have an indefinite dla award for the last few years. for mobility problems. i need to know this,, do i just need to be reassessed for dla, or do i need to start from the beginning and complete these horrendous pip claim forms :from scratch?

Please don't post in block capitals (which I have now edited to lower case) as it causes problems for members who use screen-readers.

All current DLA recipients with Indefinite/Lifetime awards who were under 65 years old on 08/04/13 will be transferred over to PIP over the next 2-3 year period.

As PIP is a totally different benefit to DLA, with different qualifying criteria you will be reassessed to see whether you qualify for PIP from scratch !

You do not have to do anything to instigate your transfer to PIP.

You will know when your time for transfer has arrived as you will receive an "invitation" to claim PIP from The DWP through the post.
