winter fuel payment dla and defered pension

i have just received winter fuel payment although i have defered statenpension can i take this with out any adverse effect. i also receive dla.. i wrote to dwp in march saying i was going to defer pension. do i need to dla people as well . keep up good work. blodders

Winter Fuel Payments are not something that we deal with !

However, my reading of eligibility for it, is that is dependent on your age, rather than any other "Benefits" that you are being paid.

Winter Fuel Payments would certainly not have any adverse effect on your DLA, and there would be no need to inform DLA regarding them, or the deferral of your State Pension.

DLA is a standalone "benefit" and payment is not affected by receipt of any other "benefits" nor is it liable to a means test with respect to household income, capital, assets and savings.
