FACE TO FACE ASSESMENT WITH ATOS

Hi am currently on ESA in the support group I filled in the latest form by the due date, then my GP phoned me saying she had received a report that they want her to fill in and would I come in to see her before she fills in the form, but she did not have an appointment for over two weeks, I go on Thursday 3rd December to see her, but on Friday 26th November I received a letter from Atos for a face to face assesment on the 10th December.
Why have they not waited till they got the report back from my doctor, it has only been 10 days since they sent it to my doctor, is their anything I can do

Of course there is

You can ring them and tell them of the delay in getting to see your doctor and ask for another appointment.

It doesn't really matter as such though. Your doctor should fill in the report with you present at your appointment or at least go through it so you know what is being asked and how it is being answered. You can deal with the face to face pre armed with this knowledge. If you tell your doctor of your appointment date she has a week to get it in before you go anyway.
