I have been told that I need to be reassessed because I am under 65. However this is for people of working age and I retired onto state pension at 61. It would appear that no thought has been given to ladies who fall into the change over dates. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do? Avril

The phrase "working age" is being misused for PIP, I'm afraid it has no relevance, have a look at the following which explains what is going on.
If you have been invited to claim PIP then you should have a look at our PIP Claim guide that explains the process in more detail and the criteria that you will need to meet for an award.
If you have questions then please come back to the form and we will do our best to help.
