Been wait for whjat sems ages since I sent my PIP claim in along with an OT independat report (supporting me) and now the PIP have responded saying that on Tuesday next they are comming out to assesss me at home..... Is this good (as in my favour) or a bad thing?

I have 2 more reports pending but heaar they wont be ready for showing the assessor on the day.

Any advice?

It's a recognition that you have problems that are severe enough to prevent you attending at an assessment centre, so that is good.

There's a section at the back of the PIP Claim guide that explains the assessment process and has a list of questions that you are likely to be asked.

Don't forget you can have someone with you during the interview.

Hi and welcome to the forum. ON the assumption that you are also new to the site, this link should help you find your way around.

Welcome to Benefits and Work

I don't think you can draw any conclusions, for good or bad, from the fact that you have a home assessment. You should submit a copy of your evidence to both DWP and the HealthCare Provider

Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS

Good luck! Please let us know how it goes.

I would say its a good hing they have agreed to a home assessment.

I would really recommend having someone there with you.
