Assessor blatantly lied on PIP report was created by ladycatfern
I had my PIP assessment in December. I have MS and my body went into meltdown on the day of the assessment due to stress and my memory and concentration disappeared completely. At various points the nurse had to prompt me as did my Mam who was ther as a witness.

When I received the copy of the report I was amazed to see the nurse had said my memory and concentration were 'adequate' and that I did not need prompting. The decision maker has used this report to make the decision.

Ther are various blatant lies on the report including that the nurse did loads of examination of my arm movements. She asked me to do 3 things with my right arm and just asked if I could do the same on my left. According to her she tested my arm strength, that I could put my hands behind my back etc. None of these things were done.

I have been awarded standard for both parts but I am 1 point shy of the enhanced rate for daily living. I am going for mandatory reconsideration as my pain doc has even said on his letter that the pain affects my concentration and memory, but this has been ignored in favour of a 90 minute assessment with a nurse who just makes stuff up.

Help!!!!! I don't want her to get away with it!!

Sounds very similar to mine too , I've not had a decision as yet but I've got a copy of the report and was appalled . I should get my award notice anytime so have already written my MR notice as I know if they've gone off the HP report I won't be awarded the correct rate . Even my doctor has hit the roof . The dwp have advised me to make a complaint to atos about the report which I am going to do in the next few days .

same thing happened to me. I arrived at the centre 20 minutes before my assessor and in his report he says he observed me walk in and out of the centre when i left he was doing another assessment as we had to wait for a taxi. he stated he observed me walk 100 metres when from the kerb to the examination room was no more than 30 metres. I couldnt believe the lies and how they disregard gp and specialist reports for a basic f2f without any meaningful examination!
