My MR wait continues.
More than 4 weeks after DWP receiving my MR letter I continue waiting in frustration having called DWP numerous times. All I get is acknowledgement of it being with a decision maker.
Seems incredible that it would take a decision maker weeks to read through my MR letter and draw some conclusion, or even call me. I could understand the wait if the possibility arose it was bounced back to Atos, but I'm sure it hasn't.
Any clues?

Hi
If you are referring to the request for the MR then they are supposed to give you some time to make your submissions.
If you mean since your submission it is difficult to predict how long it will take. There are no rules governing the length of time the DWP can take to conduct the MR. It will be different depending on where in the country you are and what sort of backlog there may be locally. We have had people on here saying their MR has taken place within a week without giving them opportunity to make a submission and others waiting over 8 weeks.

Hello Johnny
I am in the south of the U.K. and I was told today that my MR submitted a couple of weeks ago, could take 8-9 weeks.
The waiting is anxiety inducing, so I understand how you feel about your MR.

Yes, Matey
It's clear and beyond doubt that DWP DO NOT give a toss regarding the effect this has on us individually. They claim it is fair and will benefit those who need it, while the actually reality is, IT'S NOT MAKING LIFE EASIER, BUT MAKING LIFE WORSE FOR THOSE WHO MOST NEED IT.
The general public and media don't care either, because anyone ASD is seen as a second class citizen anyway.
