Work and claim

Hi everyone
I am thinking to start some work by profession in am a taxi driver and can drive for a small school run which will be not more than a hour per day will that be OK and the second thing is cab advised me to call for social services for aids and appliances at house .I did not work from a long time because of my bad spine for which I had a surgery and injections and might be another one now so will it be OK with social services for me
to work .i called the social services today and they advised me to visit their stores because home visit will take a long time .
