As it is cheaper to live abroad, is it possible to still receive benefits or would they stop.

I'm afraid this is not a straightforward issue. It depends on where you go, how long you stay, what benefit you are on etc.

Thanks for your reply, I think the answer is no, As I can no longer work, and the cold is my nemesis, A place in Spain would solve a lot of problems, health and financially, never mind,
