PIP - mandatory reconsideration was created by kat50
From receiving the letter 'PIP Decision' - and having 28 days to ask for a Mandatory Reconsideration, should a response at this point detail all the reasons why you dispute what the assessor has said or do you wait for the M R and if its still not right then submit a detailed reasoning and extra reports?

Thank you

Hi
You need to challenge everything you intend to challenge and submit details of why you think you should have been awarded points for the activities in line with the responses to the questions on the claim form. You should reference your evidence where it supports your answers and get more if you lack some the report specifically mentions.
All this and more is covered in our appeal guide in the members area.
You can get your award overturned at MR, although more often than not it simply rubberstamps the initial decision but you then have everything ready for the next level.
