ESA50 address, post or hand delivered ? was created by Dollydee
Hi guys
As usual I have left it so late to return my ESA 50 form & don't know weather to send it to the address on the envelope provided or directly to the address on the reminder letter (Quarry Hill, Leeds). It's the 1st of Feb in the morning at it needs to be there for the 3rd. Do I risk posting it recorded next day delivery or as I have done in the past hand deliver it to Quarry Hill in Leeds ? (I live close to Leeds).
I am thinking address to leeds but send 1st class next day signed delivery.
Any advise is appreciated
Thanks Dollydee

Hi Dd,

See : This Topic and This Topic .

These reminder letters are generally sent out as a matter of course, even if you have already returned The ESA50.

I have helped numerous people with ESA50's and I have always returned it to the address on the pre-paid envelope.

It is of course up to you !

If you are to hand deliver it, it would be advisable to get someone in authority to sign a pre-prepared letter stating that they have accepted delivery, otherwise how will you be able to prove that it has been hand delivered if it goes missing.

At least if you use Royal Mail, you will have a receipt, and proof of delivery and you will be able to show that you took all reasonable steps to return it in good time to arrive by the deadline.
