Sorry to hear about your Mum !!
Firstly, see This Information regarding receiving PIP and being in Hospital !
If your Mum's limitations have changed or increased to such an extent that you feel that she may now score the other point needed for an Enhanced Daily Living Award, then it can only be a decision that you can make regarding reporting a Change of Circumstances (C of C) in writing to DWP PIP informing them that her medical conditions have deteriorated.
Sending Documents to the DWP.
Even though you can stipulate that you only what them to review her current Daily Living Award, they can re-look at both Daily Living and Mobility from scratch, so there is some rick still involved !!
A review will most probably instigate a totally fresh re-assessment including a new PIP 2 form, etc !!

PIP Self Test
If you do report a C of C, any change to her current awards, for better or worse as a result of the review, will take effect from the date that you report The C of C !
