Hi F58,

Welcome to Benefits and Work :)

I see that you made a similar query a few days ago which went unanswered, which I have now merged with this topic for continuity.

This is probably because you seemed to address your query to the members, and although it is fine to do so, as this is not really chat forum and members only tend to post when they have their own queries, which Mods answer, it has gone unanswered !!

On the premise that you have an Indefinite HR Rate Mobility Award, there should be no problem with renewing your lease with Motability, you should contact them for confirmation of this.

However, you should be aware that if you were under 65 years old on 08/04/13, that you will be invited to transfer over to PIP at sometime in the coming 2-3 year period !!

See : This Post in our Spotlight Area at the top of The forum.

If you fail to gain and Enhanced PIP Mobility Award on transfer from DLA, you will have to return your Motability vehicle even if you request a Mandatory Reconsideration (MR)/Appeal of the adverse PIP decision.

I believe that if you have paid a deposit, they will pay you some of this back pro-rata !

You can read more on Motability's DLA to PIP transitional support package : Here.

So you might want to take this into account when considering renewing your lease !

Thanks in anticipation of your future co-operation in keeping all your PIP related queries to this topic ! :)
