Hi, just a quick question please. I am claiming JSA after unsuccessful ESA assessment. Can I submit a Fit Note after claiming JSA for 13 weeks? and will payment automatically continue if I do so?

Hi LB,

We don't really advise on JSA, but yes, if your JSA claim is up and running the facility has been in place since 30/03/15 for what is known as an Extended Period of Sickness whilst still in receipt of JSA.

You would of course have to present fit notes !!
