Thanks for letting us know that your partner has been placed in the Support Group. If this is contributory ESA, he might be entitled to an income-related 'top up' if your joint income and assets are low. If you think this might be the case, you/he should request an ESA3 form which will elicit details of your financial situation. If you were to work for 24 hours or more, this would automatically exclude your partner from ir ESA, no matter what your income.
