Hi
Many, many thanks and profound gratitude to the Mods and Steve for the excellent giudes and all forms of advice.
The brown envelope arrived today telling me that I qualified for enhanced both, scoring 24 points for mobility and 45 for daily living. The daft thing is they're going to do the whole thing again in 2018!

That's great news Pen! Thanks for letting us know and for your kind words about B+W I'm sorry that you will be reassessed so soon (next year, it your award runs to 2018) - but the rules allow for any of us to be reassessed at any time (for any reason or none) anyway

Hi Mrs HB
The award runs from Feb 2016 to Feb 2019, so they'll be reassessing after Feb 2018, thankfully, two years off. Though how they think I'll be cured by then is hilarious when I've had some of my conditions since early childhood.
I was lucky enough to get a home visit, despite not actually asking for one, from ATOS; which might be on account of one of my carer's taking a photo of me in my old battered wheelchair and including it in the evidence. The Assessor, a Paramedic, was thorough and professional throughout and commented that all the evidence I'd sent (All 132 ages of it) had 'done half his job for him'.
If you get a home visit from ATOS don't offer any refreshments, they're not allowed to drink anything offered as one Assessor has experienced poisoning.
