I HAD MY PIP ASSESMENT at home 25th of January this year and I am still waiting for decision nearly 11 weeks. when I phone they say different things like it should only take up to 6 weeks and theres a back log.is this usual at the moment

There has been definite slow down of the process since the New Year, we're currently quoting 4-8 weeks, down from 1-2 at the beginning of the year. unfortunately there is no required timescale for a Decision to be made and all you can do is chase them on a regular basis.
