Hi, my wife had a payment today for her ESA which is not due until tomorrow, it has been paid using FPI instead of the BGC they usually use and it says JSA and a long number after her national insurance number instead of EESA which it normally says. The payment is for the exact same amount as it normally is so I was wondering if it is anything to be concerned about, like most people I won't phone them unless I really have to. Thanks

There's no need to worry, for some reason they have done a manual payment rather than an automatic one, the ESA payment system is piggy backed on top of the JSA which is why the latter is flagged on the transaction.
