I'm glad you mention about potential for deciding early before additional info is sent.

Last night after actioning my MR request on the phone (tho' I will indeed confirm in writing) they offered alternative of telephone discussion ref.MR.

As they said this would be probably in just a couple days, I could see while quickness welcome that early decision not wise without even seeing Report let alone having any reasonable time to add info.

Brief update, I got no points after m/recon which was very detailed and full of proof. Appealled, adding a bit more detail. Wife dealt with claim, received call saying offer if standard+standard and thus avoid tribunal. Feeling pressured from C/Tax building up and cannot afford, even though strongly confident would win higher at appeal, accepted s+s. Sense of making it awkward from start to worry into accepting lower. Wife understands that can immediately say circs need higher assessment.

Points came in post, 10 care 8 mobility. Seems odd how nil after land/recon but 18 on just slightly more info.

Thank you for all help and advice, further comments welcome if feel we need to note anything in particular.

Well done on getting the DWP to revise the award in your favour.

Even if you accept the DWP's offer you can still make a further appeal and would continue to receive what would then be your current award.
