On the 26th April 2016 I was awarded standard rate daily living and enhanced rate of mobility for an ongoing period I have just had a phone call from my doctors to see them regarding pip letter has anyone else had this

There's no reason for a GP letter to be sent if an award has already been made, it's not impossible that it was issued as part of the assessment and has only just arrived at your GP.

There's no legal requirement for them to return the form although they won't be paid for completing it if they do not.

I would go and see them anyway, it's a good opportunity to make sure they understand how you are affected by your conditions for the purposes of PIP.

Thank you Gordon i could not work out why the doctors had just got in touch with me as when I had my home visit from capita nothing was said once again through your site I managed to renew my claim successfully i missed the enhanced daily living by 1 point last time I got a point for a tablet dispenser so I am assuming that is not allowed now so I would like to bring this to people's attention
