WRAG Request from Jobcentre for my email address.

I am currently in the WRAG.

Today. in telephone WRI I was asked by my Jobcentre advisor if I had access to the internet. I said yes. She then asked for my email address. I gave it to her.

She said that "I could expect an email from her soon."

I was feeling unwell (mental health problems) and just wanted to get to the end of the interview. I told her this several times.

My question is: WHAT IS SHE PLANNING TO DO WITH MY EMAIL ADDRESS?

I wish I had declined to give it to her now. I do not want constant hassle from the DWP when I look at my personal emails - that would be bad for my mental health.

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

My best guess is that they want to send you something, but I could not tell you what.

If you want to withdraw permission then I would recommend that you write to them saying this and that from a specific date all emails from the DWP will be deleted without being read.
