Why has my payment been reduced ....

Can anyone explain why my first PIP payment is over £100 less than it was on DLA despite the fact that I've stayed on the enhanced rate for both? Who can I ring to sort this out please?

Hi Curlygirl, this is what happened to me! Although I was paid last full 4 weeks of DLA at normal rate, I then received 1 payment of 1 week at normal rate, followed by 1st PIP payment which equated to 27 days at PIP rate awarded. My next payment, 4 weeks later was my 2nd PIP payment, but this time in full!

If your payment details or how we will pay you, does not explain satisfactorily, as Gordon suggests, best resolved by calling them, or awaiting to see what your bank account shows! Great result btw

Hi, this has happened to me too. I recently lost my high mobility after the change to PIP and am appealing it but I received a smaller PIP payment than I got DLA and then 3 weeks later received another smaller payment (yesterday). I'm assuming from my next payment it will all be correct? I will see. On the PLUS side since moving from DLA to PIP my ESA has increased by about £61 a week, I don't know why as I haven't had a letter so will phone them today. This appeal has been a nightmare
