Attending medical alone

So I will need to take extra meds, get in a taxi and do my best not to vomit over the assessor. My point is, am I automatically going to be marked down if I make it there myself? It will be the only time I've gone out alone in over a year. It's quite possible that I'll be so wound up on arrival that I need somewhere quiet to sit for a while. A home visit is impossible because I never let anyone in and have aggressive tendencies during panic attacks.

We both have mental health issues and are neighbours and have figured out how to support each other on the bus and in the supermarket etc. I couldn't do it alone. But she won't come to a medical with me because she's paranoid she would be recognised and her own pip be taken away. I know that's unlikely but if we were both rational we wouldn't be claiming lol.

If you are hoping to score points for Going Out and Mixing With Other People, then attending on your own may hurt your scoring points for these activities. You need to explain the circumstances under which you can manage this, in particular you should have a look at the guide for the use of "reliably" and "for the majority of days"
