PIP to DLA was created by cloboe
My Wife had DLA to PIP assessment Friday 10th June at home, lasted approx 55 mins, suffering from severe back problems and mobility issues. Everything seemed to go okay assessor seemed sympathetic to her problems, no physical examination due to assessor not wanting to put her through any discomfort. Not as bad as thought it was going to be but build up to assessment day very stressful. But then you never know what has been recorded for or against you. Said 6-8 weeks before DWP will make decision.

It's more likely to be 8 weeks or more based on current feedback from the forum.
