Today had compliance telephone interview . Very polite lady asked which benefits I claim if I had any savings and who lived at my address . She had had a complaint that my daughters boyfriend lived here . This was malicious as have problem with neighbour who now has asbo for threatening behaviour and keeps lodging complaints about several of us who live there . The lady was satisfied with that and didn't want any proof of anything else . She said she was satisfied with that and said she would close the case and it would stay on my file for a year .

Unfortunately there is no penalty for making a false report and the vast majority of these reports are false, I have no truck with any form of benefit fraud but I wish these people could understand the distress they cause when they make a report on what they "think" is happening when it is not.
