Long term problems from stroke was created by shirley
Hi
Hubby was on DLA Indefinite high rate motability and medium rate care.
He has been invited to apply for pip because he was not 65 in April 2013.
Has anyone had an assessment for stroke disabilities on pip.
Regards

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Shirley,
It is not the diagnosis that will see your husband awarded PIP but the limitations caused by it. People can have very similar looking deficits on MRI/CT scanning but suffer very different degrees of impairment.
As always, you should make good use of our PIP guide when completing the forms
PIP help for claimants
You might want to bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future. This will allow you to return with further questions/comments about your husband's PIP rather than having to start a new topic each time. It helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one place - and I hope you will find it helpful; too
