PIP - CAPITA ASSESSMENT

Hi

hubby has rec. his appointment with capita which is in Cardiff, but lives in the Swansea area. has anyone asked for location to be changed and was successful?

I understand that you can telephone and request that you be given an appointment at a centre nearer to your home, explaining that the length of journey is too too far for your husband to travel. This sometimes does happen! If you are given another appointment though, you must keep this one or your claim will be closed down.

Other members might give you advice on how to approach the DWP to get the best results.

I had a similar issue, I have a centre 4 miles from me & they sent me an appointment for one 56 miles away. I did ring them & they were helpful, they will change it but they will only change it once so make sure it's one that suits
