DLA through to AA was created by thomas
Hi, my wife will be 65 in October 2016. She currently claims DLA which was awarded for her lifetime. I realise things have changed, or are changing around DLA. Is there any continuation from DLA to Attendance Allowance, or any advice I could link to?

Your wife will (in principle), continue to receive DLA as long as she continues to meet the criteria for it, she will not have to claim AA when she reaches 65, however, as she was under the age of 65 on 8 April 2013 she will at some time over the next couple of years be invited to claim PIP, even is she is over 65 when this happens.
