PIP medical was created by JLP
Hi guys,

Filled my husbands DLA to PIP claim form in, sent it back less than two weeks ago.

The dreaded ATOS letter arrived today. I asked for a home visit too. We have been given a date for for the medical, this Friday 1st July. That's four days notice. What if the letter had got lost?

Has anyone heard of such short notice medical?

Thanks in advance

They are only required to give you 7 days written notice which includes the postage!

If you want a home assessment you will need you husband's GP to write to ATOS explaining why he cannot attend at their offices. You can cancel this appointment without fault, but you will need to attend the next one wherever and whenever it is arranged for.
