Had assessment today was created by Littlebipolar
Hello I had my assessment today , was waiting around in the waiting room for 40 mins , I was so anxious and scare . Took a rep with me from fight back 4 justice they are solicitors who are benefits advisors they do claim forms and buddy services unfortunately I didn't get my application done by them as I didn't know about them. They do charge for their services as they run soley on donations . I couldn't make eye contact with anyone . But what I did notice was the receptionist was walking around and no doubt taking notes , they was a man sat at the back "reading" a news paper but was writing as if he was doing a puzzle , when I got up I saw he was in fact taking notes . I am claiming due to mainly mental health but I also have some physical health issues . To my suprise the assessor was indeed a doctor . I was in the assessment room for 3 hours he was very very thoro now I don't no if I should be alarmed at this . Towards the end I was drained I just wanted to go home . I'm very stressed and just want my decision so I no what I'm facing . On the way out the receptionist watched from the window and again no doubt took down notes . They was someone that looked like a "workman" that I noticed followed someone to the end of the car park , this hasn't done my paranoia any good I'm just God smacked at what I have seen x

Hi Lb,
I'm glad the assessment is now over. You don't say which benefit this was for - PIP decisions are taking around 8 weeks following the face2face, ESA a little less, on the whole.

Hi littlebipolar, no doubt you were drained. I pray all goes well for you. Rest up now and try not to over do things. I had one recently for same sorta things, and I too was scared. Post how it turns out and I will too.
