Text - enough info received was created by Mr Asheen
On the forum, I have seen that people seem to be getting a text after a PiP assessment saying that they have enough information. I haven't received one of these even though my assessment was 2 weeks ago. I have had texts from them before though.
Is it normal to get such a text? How soon after the assessment is usual?
I have a rare condition, do they look into the condition after the assessment?
Thank you in advance for considering my querie.

The use of texts by the DWP seems to be quite variable, I wouldn't worry that you haven't received one it has no bearing on how your claim is going.
They may be doing research into your condition, but it's the effects of the condition that are being considered not the condition itself.
You can ring the DWP for an update but we are still seeing PIP Decisions taking about 8 weeks to be made.

Can I just say that I received that text but then had a letter on the same day saying they were writing to my gp, so there is no way they have already got all info.
I rang dwp and they confirmed that yes my gp will still need to submit a report and the text was just a standard one sent out once they'd received my ATOS medical report. Dwp appear to work on the basis of "computer says no"
