I was awarded 6 months and have sent in reassessment but in Facebook someone stated I could have appealed the period of my award.
As I wasn't aware of this so I didn't do it but would like to know for future. I've looked in the guides and can't find it.

I'm afraid not, ESA is an indefinite award with regular reassessment, as there is no "end" date included in the Decision, there is no right of appeal against when you are reassessed!
