Submitting evidence for PIP was created by Edwin
Hi all..Tried to post this earlier..But can't find it now...I am applying for PIP..and have recently been re assessed by ATOS for Industrial Injury... could I use this information.. (notification of IIB award stating the high percentage disability) in order to support my PIP application . I have not filled in a DLA form for years... since I had a "Lifetime" award...SO... should I send everything to them as if it's my first ever claim...Including my original consultants letters and diagnosis information...Or merely use current letters and documents relating to treatment etc.....And..Finally...Will the award... (if successful)... be a life time award to match my previous Lifetime DLA award...

Thanks ,
Eddy.

Yes you can use the IIDB and other report but you need to link it to your limitations in regard to PIP on the form for it to be of value.

Reports that are more two years old will carry little weight unless you can show that they are still reflective of your current problems.

I am afraid it's impossible to say what length of award you will receive under PIP.

Please have a look at our PIP Claim guide for information on how to complete the PIP2.

If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
