ESA (WRAG) was created by sandman1959
Any advice PLEASE, Since being put into the WRAG group in January this year (after an 18 m0nth wait) I have been asked and attended the DWP every month since. The first advisor told my support worker that I had been put in the wrong groupe and spoke to her supervisor and we were told to put in a mandatory reconsideration which was don with the aid of the CAB. To date we have still had no reply.
On my last visit we saw a different person who when logged on to her system asked if this was my six monthly review ! We informed her that we had attended EVERY month since January 2016, but nothing showed on her screen ! so my support worker gave her the name of the other person we had being seeing and she confirmed that she had infact seen us every month. The current lady agreed that i was in no fit state to begin any work focused work at the moment, and no other appointment was made, I now have received a letter asking me to attend an ESA Information Session ! Also I am a single parent with a ten year old daughter (who is on holiday at the moment) and I have nowhere to leave her while i attend this session and there are (no child facilities on site)
Any advice would be very gratefully received
Thank You,

Welcome to the forum.
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
You need to contact your new advisor and make sure that they are aware of your situation, I would expect you to be able to restrict any time you are asked to attend at the JC+ to fit with the hours that your child is normally in school. It's less clear what would happen during holiday time, but looking at the rules for JSA, there does seem to be an expectation that you will find suitable care.
Even though you have asked for a Mandatory Reconsideration you will not be excused from an WFIs or Work Related Activity unless you are moved into the SG.
