PIP Renewal/Review or whatever it's called

In August 2014 I was awarded PIP until 2017 with the proviso that they would review in August 2016.
There has been at least one person writing about this when they were to be reviewed in January last, but have got their form only now.
Can they send the review form anytime between August this year and August 2017?
I ask because I am worried this might clash with my ESA expiry which is next year.
Can I please have your best guess on this?

It seems to be pretty normal just now for the review to arrive a year before the award is due to expire - in your case that would be august. I'll leave this open to other members to let you know whether that is the normal state of affairs or if others have found their reviews have come earlier or late.
