New Work and Health Programme (WHP) ESA? was created by clearwater
Although this appears to relate to JSA, could someone shed some light on this regarding
ESA WRAG and Work Programme
A new specialist Work and Health Programme (WHP) for
claimants with health conditions or disabilities and those unemployed for over two
years, will replace the national Work Programme and Work Choice once contracts
expire on 31 st March 2017 and it is possible that WHP will not be commencing until
October 2017. Jobcentre Plus will support all other JSA claimants up to their eligibility
on WHP.

Some time ago the Government admitted that the current Work Programme was failing to meet their targets for placing claimants in work, the Work And Health Programme is the replacement scheme.
The replacement scheme appears to still be in the procurement phase so I can't find any DWP documents but if you do an internet search for "Work and Health Programme" there are plenty or articles about it.

Thanks Gordon, I did read about WHP but as i said i wonder if it applies to WRAG, it only seems to mention JSA, the current work programme applies to both JSA& WRAG, but there are differences in what you are mandated to do.

Until we see the final guidelines it's impossible to say, but I would be very surprised if this was not applied to WRAG claimants.
