ESA mortgage interest payments was created by BW59
We perhaps took our eye off the ball while sitting out PIP last 3 months, but just noticed in retrospect that ESA deductions for mortgage interest paid direct to bank went down about 4 months ago from c. £100/month to c.£40.
Reason is 'change in circumstances'.
While we see need to ring ESA for explanation, hard to grasp why such big drop and what circumstances could cause it.
Wonder therefore if there was any change in the rules that could have caused it that not aware of?
Worrying because four months - admittedly we should have noticed earlier - means already built up quite a lot of mortgage debt and bigger worry that debt will increase because shortfall seems impossible to find.
